Privacy Policy
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and embeds no third‑party scripts or trackers. The only personal data it processes are standard server access logs and any email you choose to send us.
1. Who we are
This website (flui.cloud) is operated by Dawit Abate Woldeamanuel, acting as a natural person and data controller under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
For any privacy‑related request you can reach us at dawit@flui.cloud.
2. What personal data we process
We process only two categories of personal data:
- Server access logs generated automatically when your browser loads the site: IP address, User‑Agent string, requested URL, timestamp, and HTTP response status.
- Email correspondence you voluntarily send to one of our published addresses (see §6): the sender's email address, message body, and any attachment you include.
We do not collect names, contact details, behavioural data, location data, device identifiers, or any special categories of data under Art. 9 GDPR. We do not profile visitors and we do not make automated decisions.
3. Legal basis
- Server access logs: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in delivering the site, preventing abuse, and debugging errors.
- Email correspondence: pre‑contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) for general inquiries, and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for security reports.
4. Cookies, analytics and tracking
This website sets no cookies, uses no localStorage or sessionStorage, and runs no analytics, tracking pixels, fingerprinting, or A/B testing tools. No consent banner is therefore required.
5. Third‑party content on the page
The page does not embed third‑party scripts, fonts, maps, social widgets, or analytics. Fonts, images and the map of European regions are served from our own origin and generated at build time.
Some elements of the page (e.g. footer links) point to external websites such as GitHub or npm. Following those links takes you to third parties governed by their own privacy policies; we do not share personal data with them.
6. Hosting
The site is hosted on infrastructure provided by Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany), in EU datacenters. Hetzner acts as data processor under a Data Processing Agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Hetzner processes the access‑log data described in §2 solely to deliver the website and protect its infrastructure. Hetzner's retention practices for access logs are documented in their privacy and security policies.
7. Email correspondence
Email addresses published on the site (hello@flui.cloud, security@flui.cloud, dawit@flui.cloud) are mailto: links: the site itself does not send or capture your message. Once received, your email is stored in our mailbox to allow us to respond to your inquiry or handle the security report you submitted.
8. Retention
- Access logs: retained by Hetzner for the period defined by their logging policy.
- Email correspondence: retained for as long as necessary to respond to your request and, where applicable, for the time required to comply with legal obligations or to defend legal claims. Threads with no follow‑up are reviewed and deleted periodically.
9. Recipients
Personal data is accessed only by the data controller and by Hetzner in its capacity as hosting provider. No other recipients are involved.
10. International transfers
No personal data is transferred outside the European Union. All processing takes place within EU datacenters operated by Hetzner.
11. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability (Art. 15–22). To exercise any of these rights, email dawit@flui.cloud.
You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority — for Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
12. Children
This site is aimed at developers and IT decision‑makers and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates the current revision. Material changes will be communicated through the site.
